Jean Moreau is not your ordinary monk. He is a spiritual man, to be sure, but he is also very human. Temptation rocks his world in the form of an old flame. At loose ends, he finds himself in a compromising position, a position duly noted by his power-hungry and delusional abbot. He must learn, and quickly, how to get back to stability.
As he winds his way through his personal difficulties, Jean, sometimes in spite of his religion, comes to master the tools necessary to develop Awareness, the key to contentment and the sine qua non to a meaningful and direct relationship with God.
It is an amazing story – a very human tale and a parable for modern times.
